We are all used to hearing about cities in the southern states closing up shop and calling a state of emergency for three flakes of snow, but that’s not how we do it here in Canada. We have Winter and while our roads might be a snarled mess, we all just keep right on living life, or at least we try to.
Naturally, when the 51 cm of snow fell in Ottawa earlier this week, the roads became a bit of a challenge, with reports of OC Transpo buses stuck all over the place. When one such bus was blocking an intersection, YouTube user Brandon Saikaley used his Ford F-150 FXR as a tow truck. The double decker monster weighs in at 12,000 lbs, but proved no challenge for Saikaley’s truck, which has been modified by the folks at Kanata Ford to provide a bit of extra oomph.
