If you have ever wondered why cars have safety locks on the rear doors, you need look no further than the video below.
Caught on a dash camera, presumably in Russia, a Peugeot 107 hatchback makes a left turn and we can see that the right side door is open. Shortly afterwards, a toddler pops out and does a head plant and a half roll on the wet street. The crying kid looks up at the car that has avoided hitting him and then looks in the direction that Mom drove.
Mom of the Year then runs back to her offspring, scoops him up without so much as a once over and runs him back to the hatchback. She tosses the kid back in the car, hops back in the car herself and drives off. At no point does she appear to even do up the kid’s seatbelt.
Seatbelts? Child car seat? Nope, none of that, this Mom just doesn’t care!
