Hill climb’s are usually left to dirt bikes and specially modified trucks. That didn’t stop Kamploops, BC resident Daniel Vye from making an attack on a hill that locals call the Widowmaker in a stock GMC.
Vye removed the ABS and airbag fuses to prevent any unwanted technology interventions, before taking a run at the hill in his GMC Sierra, complete with base steel wheels and stock tires. The truck powered its way to the top without even breaking a sweat.
What goes up has gotta get down, and Vye’s buddy grabbed footage of that too. The driver does a great job modulating the brakes on the steep, loose surface.
