Top Ten most dangerous intersections for pedestrians in Toronto
Toronto Police have named the intersection of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West as the most dangerous spot for pedestrians in Toronto.
The Top Ten have been chosen from 2,200 intersections in the GTA from an interesting set of defining factors. First up, the number of right hand turns. Next is the number of pedestrians crossing the road, with or without the proper right of way. Not surprisingly, the 3rd aspect is the number of pedestrian hits requiring hospitalization or causing death.
