Small town racing has a reputation for being a bit rough and tumble at the best of times, but you really never just how crazy the next guy is until the green flag drops.
I came across this first video, from Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, in Maine, this morning via Speed Society. Set way back in 2009, it features a Chevy S10 Blazer and a Jeep SRT-8 during one of those afternoon old boy’s race where fans are invited to challenge others in their street machine. Clearly there was some bad blood between these two, because the Chevy driver turns left into the Jeep, caving in the doors and sending him spinning.
Chances are that the damage to the Jeep cost more to repair than the Blazer was worth.
After watching this, I came across another video from Beech Ridge entitled “Fred’s Revenge”. I don’t know if this is the same two dipshits, or some of their redneck buddies, but the results of this race are somewhat catastrophic.
