Winter rally is never easy, requiring gentle control of the vehicle and a great deal of patience. Sometimes a rally crew’s improv skills come in to play as well, like they do in this scene from last month’s Jänner Rallye in Northern Austria.
ERC competitor Jonathan Hirschi mis-judged a fast right hander, which landed his Peugeot 208 in the middle of a snowy field. Hirschi’s attempts to get back on stage look like a Laurel and Hardy sketch! Fortunately there was a camera chopper overhead to catch the action.
