It hasn’t been much of a Winter in Ontario and Quebec and yet creative minds have been hard at work building some of the coolest snow machines we’ve ever seen.
First, there was Nissan’s Rogue Warrior, which was created in Quebec and has won the hearts of Winter fans around the world. Now, there is Smart-Traxx.
The brain child of mechanic Tod Anderson, from Manotick, Ontario, the wee Winter monster is a 2006 Smart Diesel, with skis up front and tracks in the back. While not street legal, Anderson says it only takes about an hour to swap the tracks for tires.
If you live in the area, just south of Ottawa, you might want to think about visiting Anderson at Autobahn Tuning. If the guy can make something this cool come to life, I’ll bet he can keep your ride running!
