By now, most enthusiasts know at least a bit of the history of the Ford GT40. Henry Ford wanted to beat Enzo Ferrari at Le Mans. Had Carroll Shelby build a car. Won Le Mans.
Ok, so that is really the short version, but you get the idea.
Ford is ramping up for another assault on the famed French race and once again they have sought the assistance of a noted, outside contractor to build the cars. This time however, the character behind the project isn’t a wily Texan. No, this time it is a woolly headed Canadian and his merry band of talented engineers. As a proud Canuck, I am always happy to point out that America’s next greatest muscle car is actually Canadian.
