Laval, Quebec based writer René Fagnan reported on Motorsports.com that former Indycar and Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve is planning a return to the NASCAR Xfinity series.
Villeneuve, who recently bailed out of the FIA Formula E Championship, will be racing in the Xfinity series according to a new team called Wingnut Racing.
Wingnut racing is also said to be campaigning a Nissan GT-R in the Pirelli World Challenge for 2016.
Villeneuve has not commented.
