Gravel roads are a right of passage for many young drivers, as they should be. Not only is playing around on gravel a whole bunch of fun, but it also teaches car control, something which is lacking in today’s driver training. I applaud the driver of the BMW in the video below for getting out and having some fun.
His buddy on the other hand, is a moron.
One of many rules, some written, some not, that motorsport photographers live by to stay alive is that you never stand at the outside of a turn. It seems like common sense that standing there puts one at risk of being hit by an out of control car or a flying bit of debris. Or, as in the case of this video, a small meteorite.
As the young guys say, IN THE FACE!
