All of us who work in automotive media have pretty much the best low paying jobs of all time. You could even say the best jobs of all time except for the whole tiny pay cheque part of it. Basically, like the racers say, we’re living the dream. Some though, like the dudes at Hot Rod, have even more fun than the rest of us.
In the latest episode of the series Roadkill, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan need some wheels to get from the NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indy to HOT ROD Drag Week in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They made a post on their Facebook page and asked fans to come out and try to sell them a car. The collection of kool that showed up was, shall we say, creative. Personally, I think the Hookers & Blow Caddy wins on all sorts of levels, the ’67 Ford Country Sedan wagon they ended up choosing was all sorts of awesome too.
Oh, and check out NHRA legend Don Schumacher’s hauler. Dude has lazy boy chairs on swivels in there. This dude is my new hero!
