One of the highlights of the Motorama show yesterday was a feel good moment that is less than typical. Our friends at Canada’s Best Racing team unveiled a new livery for racer Erica Thiering that was designed by an adorable six year old fan.
Six year old Ava Warrington is a big fan of the Albertan, who races in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. Her Dad Andrew helped out and then tweeted the design out to Thiering, who loved the idea so much that CBRT made it happen. The catch was that the team, along with Ava’s parents, made sure that the young designer did not find out until the cover was pulled off the car yesterday.
Toronto media outlet City TV reporter Stella Acquisto was on hand to capture the surprise on little Ava’s face.
