Anyone involved in automotive media will agree that few people will ever get rich creating it. For many of us, that is ok, as long as we can earn enough to get by, as we are passionate about cars. Most of us are also passionate about the people who drive them.
Smashing Pumpkins front-man and Twitterverse superstar Billy Corgan shares our passion for the automobile and its place in daily life. One would suspect that he does not in any way need to earn a few bucks from automotive media.
Interesting then that Corgan has shut down his Twitter account and is focusing on a pretty darned cool car website titled simply People and their Cars. Now calling himself WPC, for William Patrick, Corgan does not say exactly where he is searching for images, just that he is. It isn’t too difficult to envision the musician scouring run down antique shops and estate sales searching for cool stuff.
What makes P+C really neat is that there is much, much more than just Aunt Fanny and her Desoto. Corgan is posting all sorts of interesting images from daily life, from planes, trains and automobiles to photographic oddities.
Fun stuff from an interesting guy.
